Role Title: Telesales Manager

Location: Cardiff

Reports to: Sales Manager

Salary: To ?35 per year basic, plus OTE

Our client are one of the largest training and coaching organisations in Wales and the South of England.

Working with the Welsh Government we are aiming to improve the basic skills of thousands of working individuals across Wales through a new initiative of fully funded training and coaching at their place of work.

Role Purpose:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic self-starter to drive the sales for this initiative. The person will lead and motivate a team to identify individuals within businesses across Wales who are currently working and may have a basic skills need.

Once identified the team will promote a programme of fully funded training and coaching at the individual?s place of work to address these needs.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, driven and motivated out bound Telesales Manager or Team Leader, capable of inspiring the team, taking responsibility for targets and developing the sales strategy.

In this role you will be expected to lead by example through achieving your own sales targets and through providing coaching, training and regular team and individual reviews. Other responsibilities will include absence management, recruitment and induction of new team members, probationary reviews and management of performance.

Key Responsibilities:

?Lead by example through own sales performance
?Achieve and exceed targets set by the Sales Manager
?Maximise all sales opportunities
?Motivate, train and coach the telesales team
?Provide accurate and up to date performance management information
?Manage team compensation structure and performance metrics
?Develop scripts for use in lead generation

Skills and experience required:

?Demonstrable track record of profitable sales growth within a B2B Telesales environment
?Proven leadership and people management ability in a B2B Outbound Telesales environment
?Excellent interpersonal skills
?Highly motivated team player with the drive to sell, achieve and exceed set targets
?Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
?Able to remain focused under pressure and meet challenging goals and deadlines
?Open to feedback and keen to take ownership of actions and personal development
?Excellent IT skills
?Knowledge of CRM (Goldmine or similar) preferable
?Drive, determination and results focused
?Acts with credibility and integrity

25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
