Assessor/Internal Verifier - Retail, Customer Service, Administration
As an Assessor/ Internal Verifier you will build, maintain and effectively manage a caseload of learners in accordance with A4e quality guidelines. You will support the learner in their learning process and plan the assessment process to ensure timely completion and achievement of a range of qualifications. You will also carry out quality assurance in line with A4e and awarding body requirements. This role requires travel within a defined geographical area.
What You Will Be Doing
Effectively manage a caseload of learners from start to finish of their learner journey. Recruit/validate, induct and carry out initial assessment with learners. Carry out Health and Safety vetting and monitoring (as per local business need) Monitor Health and Safety practices within work placements. Plan the assessment process with learners and employers, observe and record assessment and complete all relevant documentation. Develop and implement a tailored individual learning plan for all learners. Undertake regular assessment visits with the learner to ensure timely achievement of qualifications. Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork to the required standards as set out in KPIs. Adapt own ways of working to ensure the learner is engaged and motivated to achieve their learning goals within expected timescales. Ensure that learner attainment and completion is in line with company, funding and regulatory bodies. Understand and commit to the QCF framework and occupational standards required for the sector(s) being delivered. In line with business needs deliver occupational training sessions to groups of learners. Recommend additional support/training or follow up activities that would enhance the learner journey. Contribute to the progression of learners. Assist in quality processes and standardisation meetings. Attend verification panels. Promote ESDGC throughout the learning programme. As required, attend External Verification visits. Support colleagues in their personal development. Any other reasonable duties as requested by line manager.

The ability to effectively work with a diverse range of individuals on a one to one basis, promoting and supporting the learner journey. Personal Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills to support in effectively managing own caseload, through effective diary management. I.T literacy, specifically experience of using all MS Office packages. Formal Assessor/IV accreditation/qualifications (A1, V1, D32, D33, D34). The ability to effectively communicate on a one to one basis and to groups of learners.
